Why AI developers need real work

Public web text has been used up. What AI developers lack are complete records of real work: how a question becomes a ticket, a draft becomes a signed contract, a bug becomes a release. These multi-step records teach AI agents to do useful work, and they exist only inside companies.

What we license

Five kinds of operational data. You choose what is in scope. HR, health and private channels are always excluded.

Messages

Team chat and email threads. Formats we accept: Slack, Microsoft Teams, Gmail and Outlook exports.

Code

Repositories, reviews and issue history from GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket or Jira.

Documents

Drafts, versions and approvals from Google Drive, SharePoint, Notion or DocuSign.

CRM & finance records

Records from Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive, e-conomic or Xero.

Tickets & tasks

Support tickets and project work from Zendesk, Asana or ServiceNow.

How it works

  1. Scope

    A 20-minute call. We agree which systems and periods are in scope, which are excluded, and give you an indicative fee.

  2. Anonymise in the EU

    After your staff have been notified, your administrator runs a standard export. We remove personal data and test for re-identification risk on EU infrastructure, then delete the raw export.

  3. Get paid a fixed fee

    We pay the agreed fee within 14 days of passing quality review. Typically 4–8 weeks from first call to payment, longer where a works council must be consulted first.

Questions

Who uses the data?

AI developers who train and evaluate models, including research labs. Knowlode licenses its own anonymised datasets to them. We never tell buyers who contributed, and we never pass on raw data.

Will my customers’ or staff’s details be exposed?

We remove names, contact details, identifiers and other personal data, replace entities consistently, and test every dataset for re-identification risk. A dataset that fails the test is not licensed.

How much work is it for us?

One scoping call, sending the employee notice we draft for you, and one export run by your administrator. We do the rest.

Is the estimate an offer?

No. It is indicative. The fixed fee is agreed after we review sources, volume and quality. All questions.
